Our Mid-Year Report encompasses everything we have done so far this year to accomplish the priorities we outlined in January at our Annual Meeting. Whether it has been public safety, infrastructure, or building the region’s talent pipeline, the Chamber has spoken up and made our voice heard.

This summer, over 30 chamber businesses opened their doors and hosted 180 high school students throughout Travis County. In addition, we partnered with AISD to pilot a paid high school professional internship program providing students with soft skills training, networking opportunities, and mentorship from career professionals.

World Music Encounters at St. David’s Showcases World-Famous Musicians through Concerts and Conversations

As the nation’s 11th largest city and perennial Live Music Capital, Austin has become a mecca for international musicians. They’ve come here for the great players, the great audiences, the plethora of venues, and the laidback musical vibe. And St. David’s is spotlighting this often-overlooked musical niche with our continuing world concert series inside our beautiful 170-year-old church sanctuary in the heart of downtown.

Concordia Texas Names Dr. Kristi Kirk as President and CEO

Following a national search, the Board of Regents at Concordia University Texas has selected Dr. Kristi Kirk as the University's 10th president and CEO. Dr. Kirk, who has dedicated over 30 years to advancing education in Central Texas, steps into this historic role on November 1, 2024.

A+FCU Invites Community To Vote For Partner Organizations To Receive A+ Gives Day $10,000 Donation

On October 14, A+ Federal Credit Union is hosting the third annual employee day of giving: A+ Gives Day.
